Korean Style Garlic Bread Recipe
As a recap of some beloved recipes from 2024, I'm excited to share one of your favorites – Korean Style Garlic Bread! While this may not be the most authentic recipe, it's the way I made them, and trust me, they turned out AH MAY ZING! Don't let the sweet-savory combo deter you; it's a common delight in Korean cuisine, and the flavors are simply irresistible.
Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 4 brioche buns
- 180g cream cheese
- 30ml double cream
- 1 tsp sugar
- 75g salted butter
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- Shredded mozzarella
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, double cream, and sugar until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, combine softened salted butter, minced garlic cloves, and chopped fresh parsley to make the garlic butter spread.
- Cut the brioche buns in half horizontally and spread the cream cheese mixture on the bottom halves.
- Top the cream cheese mixture with a generous layer of the garlic butter spread.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top of the garlic butter spread.
- Place the top halves of the brioche buns back on and press gently to sandwich the fillings.
- Beat the egg in a bowl and brush it over the tops of the buns for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy the delicious Korean style garlic bread!
