Garlic Parmesan Chicken Tenders Recipe
Ingredients:
- Kosher Salt (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
- 1 tablespoon Onion Powder
- 2 teaspoons White Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Smoked Paprika
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1/3 cup Hot Sauce
- 1 large Egg
- 2 cups Flour
- 1/2 cup Corn Starch
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Garlic & Parsley (chopped)
- Grated Parmesan Cheese (for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix together kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper, and smoked paprika.
- In another bowl, combine buttermilk, hot sauce, and egg to make the dredge mixture.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, corn starch, and the same seasonings from step 1.
- Dredge chicken tenders in the flour mixture, then dip them in the buttermilk mixture, and dredge them again in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil to 375°F (190°C) in a deep fryer or large pot.
- Fry chicken tenders for about 7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter and sauté fresh garlic and parsley until fragrant.
- Toss fried chicken tenders in the garlic butter mixture.
- Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
